This book is about a country mouse named Ragweed who decides one day that his country home is boring so he decides to leave his family and move to the city. Ragweed loves the city and makes friends. One day he is at a cheese nightclub and two cats come in and try to kill all the mice. One cat is trying to kill Ragweed’s friend, so Ragweed smashes the cat in the nose with the mouse guitar. After that incident, Ragweed becomes the number one enemy of the cats. The cats try to eat Ragweed all the time. Read the book to find out if Ragweed survives or if the cats take over.

I love this book. It lets you know what it would like to be a mouse. If you like books with animals as main characters, then you will enjoy Ragweed. Even though this book is an easy read, it is still a good book for anyone in Lower School.

Ragweed is about a mouse who wants to see the world, but this book is just about the first part of his big adventure. Ragweed (the mouse), hops onto a train but doesn’t know where he is headed.  His first stop is where he gets off and heads into the city of AMPERVILLE. Here he meets new friends and new foes. His first and best friend goes by the name of Clutch. Clutch is a girl mouse and is the one who teaches Ragweed how to speak city talk, and helps him become a part of the city. The foe is a very white cat, and she goes by the name of Silversides. Silversides is so determined to prove that felines are first that she creates an organization called F.E.A.R (Felines Enraged About Rodents).  If you want to find out if Ragweed beats Silversides, READ THIS BOOK!!!!!
