A Rat’s Tale is about a rat who lives in the sewers of New York City. His life is very boring and he is socially challenged. Even the other rats in the sewer laugh at him. One day he meets and rescues a girl rat from the sewers. She is from another part of the city. When he takes her home, he finds a part of the city her never saw before. He discovers many new and different ways that he can help all of "rat-kind". How does this discovery change him?

I would suggest this book to anyone who likes Stuart Little or animals in general. I would give this book an eight out of ten. I liked the illustrations because they helped to visualize what I was reading.
