Guy is very aggravated with his parents. In his opinion, they are not acting normally. He has a strong feeling that the people he lives with were not his real parents. Guy wonderd if he was switched at birth. He and his friend, Buzz, investigate at school as to whether anyone has the same birthday as his. They find a boy named Bobby Smith who does have the same birthday!

Guy and Buzz go over to Bobby’s house and introduce themselves. The weird thing is that he looks exactly like Guy’s so-called "mom". That’s when Guy sees Bobby’s mom who looks very much like Guy!

The next day at school Guy talks to Bobby. Guy wans to have Bobby sleep at his house and he will sleep at Bobby’s house. They will tell their parents it is a science project and at the end, they would ask if they were switched at birth. If you would like to find out what happens, read the book.
