Nora Rowley is really a genius. But she doesn't want
anyone to know that. Nora always gets average grades, so she will not
have to go into the gifted program or have to go to Chelborn Academy (as
she calls it Brainiac Academy). After being tested because she gets D's
in all her classes except for spelling where she gets a C, Nora scores
one hundred and eighty eight which is a very high IQ at her age. The
school psychologist tells Nora's parents what she scored so now she is
surely going to Brainiac Academy. Will she have to go to the academy or
can she convince her parents and teachers that grades aren't everything?
I recommend this book to 3rd graders to 5th because
it is a fun book to read and I think they will enjoy it just as much as
I did.
