This story is one of the nine books about Anne of Green Gables.  It is called Rilla of Ingleside.    If you have read the other books in the series you might know who Rilla is --if not, she is Anne's youngest child. In this story War World II is happening.   It is a wonderful, well written story that shows how much a person can be changed by one war and grow up to be a young woman in just four hard, sad, unusual years.   Rilla is an amazing character who you will learn to love with tears and smiles.  She helps people and learns new things about herself and the world.  She also meets her true love and learns how to be a mother.  It is one of my favorite books and it might be one, of yours too!
