School Story is about a girl named, Natalie, and her best friend, Zoe. Natalie has just written a novel, and Zoe thinks that it is good enough to be published. Natalie doesn't think that it is that good, but goes along with Zoe's plan to try to get it published. Zoe, a.k.a. Zee Zee, calls the publishing company anyway acting as Natalie's agent. Natalie's mom works at that publishing company, and is going to edit Natalie's book! Natalie's mom doesn't know that the book is Natalie's, because she signed the script under a pen name, Cassandra Day. Will Natalie's mom find out that she wrote it? Will Natalie's book get published?

Natalie is a girl going into sixth grade who wants to be an author. She wrote a story. Her Mom thought it was magnificent, but she wasn't sure if it was good enough to be published. Zoe, her best friend, offered to pretend she was an editor and helped her to get her story together to be published.

If you are interested in writing, you'll really enjoy reading this story. This is a great story about friends getting along and helping each other.

Natalie has written a small novel and asks her friend Zoe to read it. Zoe thinks that Natalie's book should be published. Natalie wonders how a twelve-year-old girl can publish a book. Natalie's mother is a big children's book publisher but Natalie does not want any help. Zoe soon comes up with a brilliant plan. Natalie can submit her story under a pen name and Zoe will act as her literary agent; she's always wanted to do that. Zoe and Natalie decide to get some help from their new English teacher who turns out to be a great help. The two of them find it not the easiest thing in the world to act as adults and have school at times when adults are known to try and contact each other. The best novel in the world may be in their hands, but can they pull it off without being found out.

The School Story is about a 12 year old girl named Natalie Nelson whose mom is an editor for a publishing company. Natalie is a born writer, and when she shows a manuscript to her best friend, Zoe, Zoe pushes her to get it published. She loves the novel called, The Cheater, but Natalie isn't sure if it's good enough. Besides, she doesn't want any special favors from her mom. Natalie adopts a pseudonym and Zoe becomes "Zee Zee Reisman", an agent at the "Sherry Clutch Literary Agency."  Together, they work to get it in the hands of Natalie's mom. This is a great book because you can relate to the story and the characters. Zoe and Natalie teach us that if you work hard enough, you can accomplish anything.

The School Story is a story about a girl named Natalie, who lives in New York City with her mom. Her mom works at a children's books publisher called Junior Books. When Natalie's best friend, Zoe, reads Natalie's first novel, she thinks that it is good enough to get published.  Soon, Natalie takes a pen name, and Zoe becomes her agent.

I really like the books that Andrew Clements writes. My favorite is Frindle. I think that the main reason that I like his books so much is because they always have happy endings, and I like happy endings. The School Story does have a happy ending, but there are a lot of problems along the way. I would recommend this book for girls or boys.

I read School Story by Andrew Clements.  It's about a girl who has written a story and wants to get it published, and her mom just happens to be an editor.  Natalie and her friend, Zoe, are trying to do everything and anything to get Natalies' book published.  There are a few problems.

1. Natalie and Zoe have to get the book to her mom without letting her mom know that Natalie wrote it.

2. Natalie has to get an agent to get her book published and that is usually very difficult and costs a lot of money.

3. How does Natalie know if her story is even good enough to send in to a publisher?

To find out if Natalies' story gets published or not read this book.

  WARNING!

Don't read it towards bed time because you'll be staying up all night long.

The School Story by Andrew Clements, is a book about two girls, Natalie and Zoe. It is set during the school year, and Natalie Nelson, and Zoe Riesman want to publish Natalie's book, The Cheater. But how can two sixth grade girls get their book published? Even if the book is a school story, the # 1 rated subject of best selling books, it's pretty hard, don't you think? If   you want to find out what happens, read this book.

This is a really great book, one of my favorites, for several reasons. First of all, it is written by an author I like, Andrew Clements. He is also the author of Frindle, another awesome book. It also teaches how hard you have to work to get a book published.  Finally, I like this book because it is about books and I like to read!
