Shoeless Joe
and Me
is a book about a boy named Joe Stoshack who travels back
in time with a baseball card. Once back in time he meets the
person on the card. Joe learns about the 1919 Black Sox Scandal.
Since Joe Jackson is involved in the gambling scandal he can't
go into the Baseball Hall of Fame. Joe travels back into time
and tries to stop Joe Jackson from ever taking part in the
scandal. If Joe Stoshack can stop Joe Jackson from being involved
in the scandal he can be inducted into the Hall of Fame.
I recommend this
book to readers who enjoy sports book. This book is a page
turner. I really loved it.

Shoeless Joe
is my favorite Dan Gutman book. I love that the book is full
of baseball facts and dilemmas with the characters. Joe Stoshack
travels back to the 1919 World Series to learn about the Chicago
Black Sox World Series scandal. And what a scandal it is-
the Black Sox players are bribed by Arnold Rothstein to throw
the World Series. To find out what happens to Joe read Shoeless
Joe and Me.
I give this book
a 9 out of 10. I recommend this book to anyone who likes baseball.

Joe Stoshack learns
about the scandal between, the Reds and the Chicago White
Sox baseball teams in 1919. The scandal is referred to as
the Black Sox Scandal. Could it be true that Shoeless Joe
was involved in this scandal? Joe Stoshack travels back in
time to try and stop the scandal from happening. Can he do
it?
Baseball enthusiasts
will enjoy reading this historical fiction book.. I especially
enjoyed this story, because I love baseball, and reading about
the adventures of Joe Stoschak
