| Ten year old Michael has just moved into a
new house, but his baby sister is very sick and his parents seem to be under a lot
of pressure. Michael just can't seem to get his hopes up about anything. He feels helpless until he finds this strange creature laying in his
garage. What is this strange thing that lives on spiders and rats? Man, bird
or angel? Michael thinks he's going crazy, but he gets his new friend Mina to tell
him he's not living in a dream world at all. She can see him, too. Together they get
the creature out of the garage and into a more secret place. They get it to tell
them that its name is Skellig. From then on Skellig changes Michael and Mina forever
as he teaches them new and powerful things that one could only wish of knowing. Winter 2002 |
