Violet, Klaus, and Sunny Bauldelaire are three very unfortunate orphans. Their fortune, once again, is almost in the clutches of the evil Count Olaf who has already burned down the children’s home. Their parents perished in that fire. Now Violet and Klaus are lost in the Mortman Mountains trying to find the Valley of Four Drafts. They believe that their parents were members of a secret society called VFD and if they are fortunate enough to escape Count Olaf's plan to kill them, this will be a safe place to hide. Sunny, the youngest Bauldelaire, is being held by Count Olaf. She is trying to find out any secret information because Count Olaf has obtained the Snicket file. The Snicket file is the document stating every crime that Count Olaf has ever committed. If the Bauldelaire children can steal the Snicket file, they can prove that Count Olaf killed their parents and he will finally pay for his crime! Will the Bauldelaire children get the Snicket file? Are their parents dead? You’ll have to read it to find out! I read this book in just a few days! I literally couldn't put it down! I would recommend it to any 5th grade student.

This story is about
three orphans named Violet, Klaus, and Sunny. Their parents
leave behind a fortune when they die, and a treacherous man
named Count Olaf is always trying to steal the orphans' fortune.
The youngest orphan, Sunny, is captured by Count Olaf in hopes
of getting the family fortune. Meanwhile, Sunny's siblings are
trying to find a way to rescue Sunny. Later they find Quigley
Quagmire, one of the triplets, who survives a fire. They also
find information about V.F.D. (a secret organization) and its
whereabouts from the ruins of the V.F.D. headquarters. Will
the orphans be able to rescue Sunny and figure out where the
last safe place is? What will become of Quigley Quagmire who
is separated from the orphans?
I recommend this
book to anyone who likes to read fantasy and action books.

F. '11 The Slippery Slope
is an exiting book that the tells the story of the Baudelaire
orphans and their journey up the Mortmain Mountains. After their
home and family were destroyed in a mysterious fire Violet,
Klaus, and Sunny are left to take care of themselves. in this
book Sunny the youngest Baudelaire is captured by Count Olaf
and his band of actors and taken high up to the summit of the
Mortmain Mountains.
This is an exiting and mysterious book but it is the tenth book
in the Series of Unfortunate Events. In order to understand
the book you need to read the first nine.

I
myself enjoyed reading this book because it makes a great tenth book in
the series that I've waited a long time to read. I would recommend this
book to anyone who's read some of the others in the series and likes
them because it leaves off from
The Carnivorous Carnival.
Also, if you don't like tragic stories, I wouldn't recommend this book.
Summary: Violet and Klaus Baudelaire have to find
their sibling Sunny who has been kidnapped by Count Olaf and his troupe
to get the Baudelaire fortune which is what all of the others books have
been based on. In all of his attempts before to get the fortune, his
devilish plans backfire when the orphans find a way to default it. In
this book though, Violet and Klaus find a survivor of terrible fire, and
try to get Sunny back even if it involves climbing up a slippery slope
with one of Violet's inventions and the tiny bits of evidence that
remain from the Snicket File.
