Snail Mail No More is the sequel to P.S. Longer Letter Later. It is about two best friends, Elizabeth, who is shy, and Tara-Starr, who is outgoing, that live very far apart. They keep their friendship alive by staying in touch via e-mail. Elizabeth and Tara-Starr have a lot of hardships that they have to endure. For example: Elizabeth’s father is an alcoholic and her parents are separated. Tara-Starr’s mother gets pregnant and sometimes the thought does not exactly make Tara-Starr jump for joy. Read as Elizabeth and Tara-Starr help each other in difficult times.

I recommend this book to people who like reality books, because this book shows that life isn’t always easy.

For my Super Readers Book I read Snail Mail No More by Paula Danziger and Ann M. Martin. It was about two girls named Elizabeth and Tara. They have been best friends since the second grade until Elizabeth moves away to Ohio. This puts their friendship to the test because they can not deal with the problems kids go through --such as  school, dealing with Elizabeth’s dads drug problem and Tara’s mom being pregnant. In the end  they work these problems out by getting e-mail. This helps them because they can email each other and tell each other what is happening in their lives very quickly.

I recommend this book to people who like books about long lasting friendships and happy endings.

This book is not a slow moving story, although the title might make you think that.  Two girls, named Tara and Elizabeth are best friends, but when Tara moves away to Ohio their friendship and their lives takes a turn.  Tara's mom is pregnant with Tara's first sibling and Elizabeth learns about her father's battle with alcoholism.  The girls write to each other frequently but their letters take too long.  So they find a better way to communicate, via email.  Now, they can communicate daily which helps them
better cope with their situations.

This book explores the ups and down of life as a teen.  In the end, do the girls find a way to deal with their situations?  Read this book to find out.  I recommend this book to girls especially to those who enjoy realistic fiction.
