| I just finished a great book by Joan Lowery
Nixon called The Specter. The main character is a girl named Dina who is
about 18 and has cancer. Dina's new roommate at the hospital, Julie, is a 9 year old
girl whose parents just died in a car crash. Julie believes someone caused the
accident and is trying to kill her. Since Julie is so afraid, Dina stops thinking
about her cancer, and she trys to help Julie find the murderer. Dina makes herself
the target of the killer. If you like a good murder story with lots of suspense then this
is the book for you! Fall 2002 |
