The Thief Lord is a fantasy story about two brothers, Prosper and Bo, who run away from their aunt and uncle to live in Venice. They meet up with a band of thieves and live with them in an abandoned movie theater called the Stella Marie, or the Star Palace. The band of thieves are forced to live by stealing. Their leader, Scipio, steals from all of the important places in Venice. One day they find out a secret about Scipio that changes their lives forever.

I recommend you read this book during the day, because some parts make you so happy that you can't sleep!

The Thief Lord, by Cornelia Funke, is a fantastic book. It is about two brothers named Prosper and Bo who run away from their Aunt Esther Hartlieb. They run away because Esther wants Bo with all of her heart and she would only allow Prosper to see Bo once a month. When Prosper and Bo get to Venice, they live with a gang of thieves in an abandoned movie theater called the Stella or the Star Palace. The leader of their little gang is called Scipio but he prefers being called The Thief Lord. I would recommend this book to people who enjoy suspense and adventure.

The Thief Lord is about two orphan brothers named Prosper and Bo, who run away from their evil aunt to live on the streets of Venice. Before they know it they have teamed up with a secretive boy who calls himself  "The Thief Lord" and who lets them stay in a run- down movie theatre with a few other orphans.

This is really an amazing book because there are so many things going on at once, but the author still makes it not too confusing.
