I read the Tigers at Twilight by Mary Pope Osborne. It is a
fiction book and the 19th in the series of Magic Tree House books. In
this book Annie and Jack have to find the 3rd gift that will free their
dog, Teddy, from a spell. The clue says that the gift will be found in a
forest far away. Annie and Jack go to the tree house and are magically
teleported to a forest in India where they meet up with a tiger, a
snake, and elephants too. The 3rd gift, a lotus flower, is given to them
by a blind hermit who believes the voices of the animals and everything
else he hears are the voice of the forest. I recommend this book to
people who like animals.
