| Reviewer: Tim V. '09 A young scientist makes a time machine, but he's the only one
who believes it will work. All of his friends don't believe him, but he
knows it works because he has traveled in it to many different time periods. On one
of his time travels he gets stuck more than 80,000 years in the future. The human
race has been separated into two groups. The young scientist has many problems there
and actually does something very dramatic. This great classic, written over 80
years ago, is one of my top three favorite books that I have read, so I would
recommend this book to anyone and everyone, young and old. It is very
interesting what H.G. Wells thinks the world will be like 80,000 years in the future.

Joe K. '09 The Time Machine is about a time traveler whose name is unknown.
After traveling through time he comes to the year 802,701 A.D. He meets two
different types of creatures. The Eolis are short and plump humans. The Morlocks are
pale, white humans that live underground and are sensitive to the sun.
I really like this book. I recommend it to people who like
science fiction and have a good imagination. There is a movie about the book,
but it's nothing like the book. I hope you read the book.
