A boy named Mark takes a solo camping trip in the desert.  A beam of blue light mysteriously transports him to another place and time.  He must find his way back to Earth, but along the way he meets some unusual tribes and animals and  faces many dangers.  You will have to read the book to figure out the startling ending. This is a wonderful book and a great adventure for anyone who is up to it.
