Veronica The Show-off is about a girl named Veronica who is a real brat to others in her school. She is unkind and she is selfish too. She tries to get friends by lying to them but it just makes it worse for her. The one thing that Veronica lies about the most is how she has a lot of cool stuff which she really doesn’t have. It is also really hard for Veronica because she is starting a new school. There is an odd girl that comes to Veronica’s school and says she will be Veronica’s friend if Veronica will stop lying and tell the truth. Veronica’s says she will try. The best quote of the book is "When you’re busy being a friend there is no time to worry about finding one." Read it, it’s good!
