This is the tenth book in the Hardy Boys series. The brothers are sent on a mission by their father to break into a house and steal a very valuable invention from the inventor's safe before the real thieves get to it. Joe gets kidnapped by smugglers and is hidden in a cave on the cliffs of Barment Bay. The smugglers are caught with large amounts of jewels and electronic equipment. Will the Hardy Boys solve the mystery.

I rate this book a 7 out of 10 because it has a good plot idea, but it could have been more interesting.
