Becky is
outraged when she is accused of stealing books from the library. She and her
brother,Toby, act like detectives and ask other people if they know anything about a woman
who has donated a lot of books to the library. Along with this strange accusation,
mysterious robberies are happening where nothing has been stolen. Who is the person
who steals the books? Who is the robber who is not stealing anything? Do the
books have anything to do with the mystery? Read this book to find out!
I really enjoyed this book because it is humorous and
creepy at the same time. My favorite part is when they find out who steals the books
and when Becky feels outraged because she is accused of stealing the books. I really
think Avi is a great author and has a gift of words. When Avi describes how scared
Becky is in the dark, creepy library, I could feel exactly how scared Becky must have
been. It was like I was in the center of the action. I hope you get a chance
to read this wonderful book by Avi.
