'11Witch Week is about a
class in a world that shouldn’t exist. In the unusual class of 6B a
mysterious note materializes between two geography books a worried
teacher, Mr.Crossley, is correcting. The note states a member of the
disorderly 6B class is a witch.
In this odd world being able to perform the
unique art of magic is considered worthy of condemnation to death.
Various members of the 6B class discover that they are liable to be
burned at the stake, they flee in fear then they embark on a journey
that may be to their advantage or their undoing. - Forever.
This epic tale of amazing skill and witty quips
is best read by the adventurous type. In this tale, in which magic is
boldly outlined, the writer makes a decline on the strictly realistic.
She creates a dreamland though not perfect this imaginary world
blossoms under the pen of a person with a passion.
In this charming brief deviation from the
ordinary, teachers think they’ve gone round the bend, students think
they’ll die tomorrow, and the onlookers raise an amused eyebrow during
it all. This book is the last of the Crestomanci series and I advise
you read the rest of the series. Which I will now list:
