Dayven is turning
14 and it is time for him to take the wizard test. Dayven
takes the test and to his horror, he passes. Dayven absolutely
does not want to become a wizard. He promised his mother before
she died that he would never have to do anything with magic.
Yet, Dayven doesn’t have a choice. The great and powerful
Lord Enar sends him on a mission to spy on the wizards. Dayven
becomes a wizard’s apprentice and then, his master,
Reddick, sends Dayven to spy on the Cenzar, the enemy. Dayven
becomes entangled in a mess of lies, magic, wizardry, spying,
mystery, betrayal, honor, fate, truth, and much, much more.
What is Dayven to do! Dayven has always wanted to be a Guardian,
and Lord Enar promises that when he gets back from spying
that Dayven will become one. Dayven will just have to be careful
and not use magic to alter anyone’s destiny. Does Dayven
become a wizard? Why is Dayven spying on the wizards and the
Cenzar? Will Dayven betray his promise to his mother? Read
the book to find out!
If you enjoy magic,
war, fighting, lies, and mystery, I think that you will enjoy
this book. The Wizard Test is a little hard to follow and
it gets confusing in areas. You just have to read the book
slowly and take your time so you understand it.
