I bet you've never had to leave your family during
the Great
Depression to look for work. In Wolf on the Fold,
by Judith Clarke, that's what fourteen-year-old Kenny Sinclair has to
do. In this book there are six short stories based in Australia where
the main characters always show courage to overcome there fears. These
stories span almost seventy years, from 1935-2002. The thing I like
about this book is that there is a timeline starting with Kenny's
parents and ending with Kenny's great grandkids. I also like how each
story included Kenny in it in some way.
I really like Judith Clarke's writing. She has
amazing talent and I can't wait to read another one of her books. I
would recommend this book to anyone because everyone will like it.
