| Title: A
Writer's Notebook: Unlocking the Writer Within You |
| Author: Ralph Fletcher |

| A Writers Notebook taught me to
think "out of the box" when writing. A way of thinking out of the box is seeing
things from your own perspective and communicating that to the reader in writing.
Sometimes by using detailed descriptions you can communicate to the reader much better.
Using you senses, like hearing, smelling, seeing and touch helps you to describe things in
a richer way. The author decides to put little poems and
other types of writing in this book and it has allowed me to open up to all these
different ways of writing. I recommend this book to people that want to become better
writers.
