Zia is a little young and doesn't know how to handle a boat. She finally ends
up going with her brother, Mondo, but they quickly return. Zia tries a lot of
different ideas to find her lost aunt because she wants to learn about her and the
island. Does Zia find Karana? And if she does, how will Karana adapt to the
different culture? You will have to read this book to find out and to discover the
