and his family live in La Paz, California, just outside of Baja, California along the
Vermilion Sea. Ramón’s father is a pearl dealer and for Ramón’s sixteenth
birthday his father made him a partner in his firm and renamed it Salazar and Son. Ramón
goes pearl diving in a lagoon with a friend of his father’s and there, Ramón finds a
huge, black pearl known as The Pearl of Heaven. The Pearl of Heaven unlocks a mysterious
monster, known as the Manta Diabla. The Manta Diabla will stop at nothing to get his pearl
back.
Will the the Manta Diabla get its pearl back, and will Ramón
survive?
