In A Break with Charity, a story about the Salem Witch Trials,
a sixteen-year-old girl named Susan lived in Salem Village. A group of other girls her
age, older, and younger started to practice witchcraft. These girls then claimed that
witches disguised as townspeople were torturing them. The girls put these people, who were
really good people, in jail. Later, they were sentenced to death. Susan was the only person who knew the truth about the witch trials. Will she
have the courage to speak out and risk being accused of being a witch herself? To find
