| Title: The Celery Stalks at Midnight |
| Author: James Howe |
Reviewer: Alexander H. '06
The Celery Stalks at Midnight is about Bunnicula, a fuzzy,
white bunny with pink eyes, Howie, the puppy, Chester, the weird cat and Harold, the old
dog. In the story, Bunnicula disappears. The children in the family started acting like
vampires. Chester thinks that Bunnicula has evil vegetables who are helping him turn
people into vampires. The children go off to a meeting, and the animals follow them. What
do they learn? The Celery Stalks at Midnight is
really adventurous and cool because the animals are so smart. It is a bit creepy too. Read
it and see what you think.
