Cleopatra is a princess with some problems. Her father is the King of Egypt, whom everyone hates. Cleopatra's older sister is trying to take over her father's throne, and Cleopatra also suspects she is trying to poison her. A lot of surprises are inside this story. I recommend this book to people who enjoy unexpected endings. This story is fiction and the true story is in the epilogue.

In the beginning of the story, Cleopatra describes her days as a princess; however, her father, Ptolemy XII, is not well liked by his people. Eventually, he is driven out of the country and takes his daughter, Cleopatra, with him. While he is gone, Cleopatra’s sisters become the rulers. Queen Fryphanena, Cleopatra’s sister, sends a warning to them in Rome. The note states that if either of them return to Egypt, they will be executed.

What will Cleopatra do? Find out by reading Daughter of the Nile.
