You Dare Read This Mrs. Dunphrey is about a teenage girl named Tish who has to write
in a journal for English class. Her mom leaves home to find her husband who ran away after
a disagreement. Tish and her younger brother don’t have any money, and Tish has to
skip school to take care of her brother.
I like this book because it teaches you that if you have a
problem you should tell someone. Tish finally tells a teacher and she helps Tish solve the
problem.
