Expecting the Unexpected is about a girl whose class gets chosen to design the  best hallway border. When her teacher chooses her to do the drawings, she is very surprised. She is asked to stay after school to finish her drawings; she has to draw many of them to get it right, but her teacher doesn’t approve any of them. The principal then tells her teacher that he is being too hard on the main character and that all of her drawings are great.

Overall Expecting the Unexpected is an interesting book to read because there are lots of unexpected events in it.

Expecting the Unexpected is about a girl named River. River wasn’t what her mom thinks River is. At River’s high school, she is in a Human Interaction Class. River thinks the school needs a new border. Her school is having a contest. Just River’s luck; one of the judges for that BEST CLASS AWARD is the school’s nurse, Mrs. Gladys B. Furley. Mrs. Furley can over-do the topic a little too much. Because the fact that she’s snooping into her sister’s driving book.

I would get so upset with my sister because that is my own personal space.
