Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone is about a boy named Harry Potter who is a wizard. He attends the witchcraft and wizardry school called Hogwarts. When Harry was a small baby, his mother and father were killed by a dark, (evil) wizard named Lord Voldermort. Harry was sent to live with his aunt and uncle, the Dursleys, who treated Harry like a dog. When Harry received a letter telling him that he was a wizard, and that he was accepted into Hogwarts, he went straight to Diagon Alley to receive all the books on his school list. Harry ha a great time at Hogwarts, and he met two friends, Ron and Hermione. At the end of the year, Lord Voldemort was back to try to kill Harry Potter once and for all. Voldermort was no match for Harry; Harry had killed Voldermort, or so they thought.

I really enjoyed Harry Potter. Before I read it, I heard many wonderful stories of how Harry Potter was the best book some people have ever read! Now I understand what the big fuss is about.

Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone is about a boy who is a wizard who was sent to live with his aunt and uncle because the strongest wizard from the dark side killed his parents. His aunt and uncle are humans and they hate Harry. When the clock struck 12:00 on Harry’s 11th birthday, a big giant came in with a letter. It read, "You are invited to Hogwarts, the school of wizardry and witchcraft." A few days later, Harry boarded the train for Hogwarts.

If you want to know more about what happened to Harry, read this book!

In Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone, Harry finds out he is a wizard and must go to a wizard’s school. Because his parents died, his aunt and uncle say they will not pay for his schooling. Harry has to get money out of his parents’ account. At school, Harry makes some friends and has all kinds of adventures.

People who like adventurous mystery books will enjoy Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone.

Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone is a great book! I read this, the first book in the Harry Potter series, during the summer. I decided to reread it because it was so good the first time. It has everything - mystery, suspense, fantasy, and unexpected turns. I love books like that! J. K. Rowling is a great author. I think if you like to read, then you would like Harry Potter books, because, as I said, these books have it all!

Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone is the first in a series of books that will eventually have seven. I read this book aloud to my sister who is in kindergarten and we both really enjoyed it. I liked Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone because of how out-of the-ordinary the book is, and how it talks about a young wizard’s school life. I liked how the author used play on words, for example: Diagon Alley. My sister liked the part when Harry is caught in his enemy’s plan to get him.

If you want to read Harry Potter, I would suggest that you start with this book because in Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone, you find out how Harry gets to Hogwarts, his school, and other places.

I liked the part when Harry is playing Quiddish. Quiddish is a sport played on brooms. The players have to catch, throw and hit balls while flying on a broom. It is a very dangerous sport because they can get hit with a big, heavy black ball that will hurt, but in the long run it sounds like a lot of fun.

Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone is a book that I could barely put down because it was so exciting. The plot made it that way.

Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone is a great book for readers who like to read about magic and fantasy. Harry Potter, the main character, is a boy who lives with his aunt and uncle, who are very mean to him. Finally, on his eleventh birthday, he finds out that he is a wizard. After a couple of months, he gets to go to a school for wizardry, Hogwarts. And that is where all the action begins.

Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone is about a boy named Harry whose parents were wizards , but got killed by a very powerful wizard who uses Black Magic. His parents die when he is a baby. Harry goes to live with his Aunt and Uncle who mistreat him and make him sleep in a closet. Harry doesn’t know that he is a wizard because his Aunt and Uncle never told him. Then a gate keeper from a wizards’ school comes and tells him that he is now eligible to go to the school. Harry goes there with the gate keeper. The story tells his adventures trying to kill the wizard that murdered his parents while trying to save the precious sorcerers’ stone that is kept in the school.

Harry Potter and the Sorcerers Stone is a really exciting book, read it.
