Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, by J. K. Rowling, is about a boy whose parents were killed when he was a baby.   Harry was sent to live with his aunt and uncle. When Harry is 11 years old he finds out he is a wizard.  The rest of the book is about Harry’s life at Hogwarts School Witchcraft and Wizardry learning about wizardry and fighting evil Lord Voldemort.

I recommend this book to anyone who likes fantasy and adventure.

Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, by J.K. Rowling is the second Harry Potter book. This book is about Harry’s second year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. During the year, he finds a diary that belonged to a former Hogwarts student named Tom Riddle. When Harry looks in the diary it is empty. Harry tries writing in it, but the words he writes disappear a few seconds later. Harry sees words drifting across the page. Someone or something is trying to tell him something. Someone must be living inside the diary waiting for a person to set him or her free. But how could a person be living inside a diary? Read Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets for the truth!

This picture shows the Quidditch match between Gryffindor and Slytherin.   Gryffindor is in red and Slytherin is in green.   Quidditch is a game played by wizards with 14 people, 4 balls and six goalposts (my picture shows only half the pitch). The players fly around on broomsticks, three on each team trying to score with the red quaffle, one trying to stop the opponents from scoring.   Two players try to knock their opponents off their brooms with two black balls called bludgers, and last but definitely not least the seeker (Harry is Gryffindor's) who tires to catch the Golden Snitch.  If the quaffle goes through any of the six posts it is worth 10 points.  The capture of the Golden Snitch is worth 150 points and the win of the game!

Harry’s parents were murdered by a sorcerer. Now Harry goes to a school for witches called Hogwarts. There is a serpent that is said to be in the chamber of secrets, which is terrifying a lot of people. One day the serpent takes a little girl named Giny into the chamber of secrets and keeps her there. Harry decides to save her.

If you want to find out more about Harry saves her, you must read the book.

In the second book of the Harry Potter series, Harry goes back to Hogwarts School for his second year. He meets his friends there and he learns new wizardry spells. He, again, has to face the evil Voldemort. Harry nearly gets killed by Baslik, a venomous snake. Looking at the snakes eyes will turn you into stone.

Read Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets if you like adventure!
