| Reviewer: Brandon M. '07 Journey to Center Place tells the story of three young
Native Americans, their parents, and their aunts and uncles. They are forced to move to
Center Place because there is a big drought. Neekan, a girl, wants her grandmother and
baby brother to come along, but Wahtee, another girl, doesn't want them to come because
she thinks they will slow the tribe down. They decide to have a tug-of-war and whoever
wins gets their choice.
Journey to Center Place is exciting and
