Lily's Crossing is about a girl named Lily who goes to a place called Rockaway for the summer. It is the summer of 1944 and World War II is going on. Lily's friend, Maragret has to move away, so Lily has no one to play with. Lily's father who is an engineer also has to go away. Enter Albert- Albert is a refugee from Hungry. Lily and Albert become friends, but Lily has a problem with lying. Then she tells a lie that puts Albert in danger.

I thought Lily's Crossing was a really good book. There is danger, trouble, and lies. I was always interested. Sometimes you couldn't believe what Lily and Albert were doing.

Lily’s Crossing is a story about a girl named Lily who lives in St. Albans. Every summer she goes with her father and grandmother, called Gram, to Rockaway Beach. She always see her best friend, Margaret. But, this year is a little different. This year Lily’s father had to go overseas to fight in World War II. Also, Margaret is moving to Detroit, Michigan, because her father has to help make supplies for the Army and Navy. Another thing different is that there is a new boy in town named Albert who is from Hungary. One day over the summer Lily makes Albert a promise that may cost Albert his life. In this book you will find out some of the adventures and secrets they share together.

I hope if you read this story you really enjoy it.

Lilly's Crossing is interesting. It is about a girl named Lilly who is mischievous and who is a lot like Curious George during the summer she goes to the seashore. Lily's best friend moves away and a new one moves in. But is this new stranger a friend?

I recommend Lily’s Crossing to patient and adventurous people. It has scary parts and lies that almost cost a life. If you are up to using your  imagination, read this book.
