| Reviewer: Casey P. '07 Titanic: The Long Night is a book about the Titanic
disaster. It shows many different perspectives, not only of the ship but also of life. The
characters are: Katie Hanrahan, a girl traveling in steerage along with her friends, Brian
and Patrick "Paddy" Kelleher, Elizabeth Farr, and her family in first class, and
Max Whittaker, also in first class.
This story was great because it had fact as well as
fiction and great description. If you like historical fiction books, with a few drops of
romance added in, then you will love Titanic: The Long Night.

| Reviewer: Joe K. '06 There are two main characters in this book: Elizabeth Farr and Katie
Hanrahan. Elizabeth, who is very rich, is sailing first class with her family. When
Elizabeth arrives in America, she will have to marry Alan Reed. She thinks he is boring
and she does not love him in the faintest way. Instead of marrying Alan, Elizabeth wants
to go to college. Katie, who is traveling in third class, is from Ireland. When she gets
to America, she wants to become a singer. Will Katie and Elizabeth survive the horrible
disaster? Will Elizabeth have to marry Alan and not go to college? To find out, read the
book!
