| Reviewer: Jeff B. '06 The
Man in the Iron Mask is the sequel to The Three Musketeers. As Queen
Anne has her child, she realizes that she is having twins. King Louis XIII already
proclaimed Louis XIV as his heir. The queen and the king realize that their country will
erupt into civil war once King Louis XIII has died. They decide to send Phillipe to a
house in the country. If he ever found out that he was the Prince, they would send him to
Bastille (an infamous prison in Paris). As he grew, he found out that he was the Prince.
The three Musketeers (Except Dartgnan) replace the King with Phillipe.
I really enjoyed this book. I think any one who
enjoyed The Three Musketeers would enjoy this book.
