My Father’s Dragon is about a cat that travels all over the world and then he settles down in a small town. It is told by the father’s son. The father finds the cat and feeds him secretly. They go for walks in the park and the cat tells the father of his adventures.

One time he tells him about his adventures on Wild Island. Wild Island is off of Tangerina. The father goes to Tangerina to collect information about Wild Island. Everyone is too afraid to speak about it. So the father collects as many tangerines as he can and sets off on his three-day journey across the rocks. On Wild Island he meets many wild animals and makes friends with them all, but the boars don’t trust him. The wild animals have captured a dragon and use him to cross the river. The father uses only lollipops to try to free the dragon.

I think this book is very good.
