Poppy is about a mouse colony that lives under the control of an owl. The mice think this owl is good because he tells them things that will protect them, but actually, they are lies. One day, the two head mice tell everyone that their home is getting too small and that there is not enough food to live. So, Poppy, a young mouse, decides to go ask the permission of the owl to go find another home for the rest of the mice. The owl refuses and tells Poppy that they may not find a new home. But that doesn't top Poppy! She disobeys the owl and goes searching for a new home for the mice. Will Poppy die in the adventure? Will the owl find her and kill her? Will she find a new home in time? Read the book to find out.

I loved this book and you will too because Poppy never quits. I recommend this book to people who LOVE adventure, action, and mystery books. This book is excellent and you have to read it to find out!

On the way to New House she meets a porcupine that explains to her that porcupines don’t eat mice and owls are the ones that are afraid of porcupines. Poppy is about a girl mouse who loses her boyfriend, also a mouse. She sets out on a journey to find New House, a house to which Poppy’s family wants to move. Mr.Ocax, an owl, says they can’t move because Poppy went up on the hill without asking Mr.Ocax; but he said that if Poppy stayed with the owl he might reconsider. Poppy leaves her family to see what is really keeping him from letting the mice move into New House. On her way there, she meets a porcupine and a cat who were both very nice to her. To find out what happens you should read the book.
