This book is really great. It all starts when Robin
finds out that her grandmother is coming over from Hong-Kong. Robin's
family doesn't have that much money, so Robin has to stop her dance
lessons. When her grand mother finally comes over, she completely
ignores her. Will Robin and her grand mother get along? Read the book
to find out!

Reviewer: Rachael S. 08 Ribbons is about a girl named Robin who is in love with ballet. She
loves it so much that she practices it in the food stores and even in the malls.
Everything goes well until she finds out that she can no longer take lessons because her
parents have to save money so they can bring Robins grandmother to America from
China. Robin is very upset.
When her grandmother finally arrives, Robin is too angry to even try to like her. Robin
now has to practice ballet in the garage where her feet start to really hurt. Her feet
have grown and her shoes have become way too small. Finally her parents notice her feet,
and it becomes a problem. Meanwhile, Robin and her grandmother are getting along better.
What will happen to Robins feet? Do Robin and her grandmother realize they are alike
and have some things in common? Read the book to find out what happens.
