| Reviewer: Ellen W. '07 I
read a book called Skylark. This book is the sequel to Sarah Plain and Tall.
It is about a girl named Anna and her family: Papa, Sarah and Caleb.
Because there is a drought, and the living conditions are
so bad, Sarah takes Anna and Caleb to live in Maine, Sarahs original home. After a
while, Anna starts to miss her father and she wonders if they will ever be together again;
the more time goes by, the less likely it seems possible. Will Anna Sara, Caleb, and Papa
ever be a family again? Read the book to find out.
On a scale from one to ten, I would rate this book a four
because it ended much earlier than it should have. It is not half as good as most of the
books I have read, but it was good.
