Sun and Spoon is about a boy, Spoon, his sister, Jonie, and
his parents. His grandmother died and Spoon wanted something to remember her by. His
grandmother just loved suns. Suns from all different places were around her house. His
grandmother also loved cards. Spoon took his grandmother’s cards and felt good about
himself when he had them. When his grandfather, Pa, wanted the cards, Pa thought they were
lost. Spoon knew he had to take them back. Pa understood and gave Spoon a picture of his
grandmother. If you would like to find out the details of Sun
