| Reviewer: Jeff B. '06Upon the Head of the Goat is a book about a Jewish family
before WWII and into 1944. Piri, the main character, is visiting her Grandmother in
Ukraine. It was only supposed to be a summer visit but it turned into a year-long stay
because the borders were closed off due to the German occupation. I thought this book was
good because it came from the first person point-of-view. Upon the Head of the Goat
is the story of the authors life.
