This book is amazingly similar to my life. It’s about a
girl named Elizabeth. She was sent to be with her grandmother for the summer because a
brother who is 12 years younger than her was just born. Elizabeth doesn’t want to
stay with her grandmother, but she learns to love her. Aaron a little boy about 5 lives
next door to her grandmother. Aaron’s parents are very protective of Aaron and they
don’t pay any attention to their other child, Deidre. Elizabeth realizes that it is a
similar relationship between Aaron and Deirdre and her baby brother, Stephen Lindsay.
Elizabeth, throughout the book, learns to love Aaron like a brother so that she can be a
better sister to Stephen Lindsay.6/4/99 |
