| Title: Willie Bea and the Time the Martians Landed |
| Author: Virgina Hamilton |
Reviewer: Ben S.
In 1938 Orson Wells broadcast a radio play about Martians landing in New Jersey and
destroying New York City. Willie Bea believed in this radio play, and she went to extremes
to find out if her family was going to be destroyed. Willie Bea was a young girl who lived
in the south with her brother, sister and parents. Find out if Willie Bea will see
"Martians" before the world finds out it is just a radio play. Willie Bea
and the Time the Martians Landed is an adventurous book and I recommend it to science
fiction and history lovers. 11/6/98 |
