| Reviewer: Colin L. '07 I
think The Wizards First Rule is a great book. It has a well developed plot.
There are lots of adventures going on at once. A simple woods guide, Richard, has
his life turned upside down when he finds out that his father was murdered. His neighbor,
Zedd, knows who did it, but does not tell him. Then, Richard meets a girl named Kahlan.
The three, Richard, Zedd, and Kahlan, go out on a quest to defeat Darken Rahl, the villain
in this story.
I enjoyed The Wizards First Rule because of its
complexity.
