Most Devious? Most Powerful? Bravest? Most Destructive? I bet you’re asking what these descriptive terms have to do with ancient Rome. (Okay! So you’re not asking, but I’m going to tell you anyway.) They can all be used to describe many famous Romans who lived between the years 200 BCE and 330 CE.

You are used to studying about famous people, but have you ever determined what the qualities of a person are so you can place him or her in a category? Well, that’s what you’ll be doing if you get started on this project. Sure, you’ll have to do some research; yes, you’ll be using PowerPoint as an aid to giving an oral presentation; and you guessed it, you will have to come dressed as the person you are studying to try to convince your class that you are the most impressive person in your category.
