State the name of your game and why you chose it.
We chose court handball because the members of our group play chink or wall ball in our spare time. It is also a team sport and a lot of fun.
List the countries where it is played and its origin.
The modern handball was introduced by Irish immigrants. It's played all over the world for recreation and organized sport.
Describe how your game is played. State the object of the game. Clearly describe the rules.
- Court handball can be played with singles or doubles. Since there are a lot of kids in our class, we're going to have 2 people to a team. We are going to play single elimination World Handball Competition.
- We are going to have 3 two minute periods.
- Once the game is over, the team with the highest score wins.
List the equipment needed.
- A handball
- A wall
- A flat floor
- Tape to mark the lines
Make recommendations for what type of athlete would enjoy playing this game. What skills does it demand?
Ed: This is a good game for an athlete with good eye-hand coordination and quick reflexes. It can be played almost anywhere with anybody.
What are your feelings about this game? Did you enjoy playing it? Would you recommend it?
Ed: One of the reasons I like this game is because it's so flexible as to where it is played and how. I really enjoyed learning more about sewey, chink, wallball or court handball. I also learned new things that I can add to my recreational game I play at home.
