State the name of your game and why you chose it.

The name of our game is Saskatch Soccer. Our group chose this game because if is a very different and interesting way of playing soccer.

List the countries where it is played and its origin.

It is played in France, England and Spain. It originated in England.

Describe how your game is played. State the object of the game. Clearly describe the rules.

• 15 or 20 players link up into lines of 4 . Groups can be uneven.
• The players hold hands or put their arms around each other.
• There are usually 3 goals but there can be more. The goals are designated around the field with jackets or shoes.
• Each goal is defended by a team of two players. The goalie pair may hold hands but they don't have to.
• Any member of each team of 4 can shoot any ball in any net. But, before shooting the ball, each member must touch the ball. Usually this happens as they approach the goal and kick pass the ball to each other. If a member of another team touches the ball after that they must kick pass the ball to each team member again before a shot is taken.
• When a goal is scored the team goalies that were scored on are replaces by field units.
• Anything can be hanged during the game: the number of balls, size of goals, number of goals, etc.

• 15 to 20 players per team
• An agreed upon method of designating goals.
• Balls.

Make recommendations for what type of athlete would enjoy playing this game. What skills does it demand?

Ida: People who like crazy, fun games will like this game.

Jared: I think an athlete that likes fun, almost chaotic games will like this game. Also, people who play soccer will enjoy this game.

Michael: I think someone who like soccer, running around, and working with 4 other people would love this game.

What are your feelings about this game? Did you enjoy playing it? Would you recommend it?

Michael: I think that the class will like it because it will be a difficult challenge for all of us.

Jared: A big gym would be an appropriate place to play because it can be muddy and slow down the balls outside. I think it must be hard to score because there are two goals and if anyone on another team touches the ball you have to start all over again. I think the class will like it.
