Seventh Grade Reading and Writing Project

 

Students in the seventh grade are working on a reading and writing project during the fourth marking period. This project requires students to examine one topic, theme, issue, author, or

genre in depth. Students are to show a range and depth of knowledge on the chosen topic.

 

When researching, students must gather information from a minimum of three different genres. Likewise, students must present their findings in at least three different genres. Students are also responsible for writing a process paper that details the work that they have completed over the course of the project and for giving an oral presentation.

 

Each student has selected one piece of writing to publish on our web site.
