Procedure

  1. Gather the pertinent facts about your topic. Make notes in Spanish. Look for or think of pictures that you can use for your presentation. Use multitasking to keep a record of the resources that you use in Word, so that you can submit a bibliography to your teacher on the day of your presentation.
  2. Open your STORSRV account. Save all your work to the server.
  3. Write the text for your presentation. You may write it out in your own handwriting or you may use Microsoft Word. Before you begin to type, remember to change the spell checking feature to Spanish.
  4. Have a peer proof read your work. Then ask the teacher to proof read it. Make sure that all grammar usage is correct. Check for noun/adjective agreement, verb forms, etc.
  5. Open Power Point to create your presentation. Change the spell checking feature to Spanish. From your researched text develop the key ideas which will constitute each slide.
  6. Select appropriate graphics and /or photos. You may use ArtToday.com. and save graphics in your folder on Curricular Projects.
  7. Add your graphics to your slides. Check your work again for correct grammar usage and spelling.
  8. Your last slide should be a bibliography with hyperlinks to any web resources.
  9. Make sure all your work is saved to your Curricular Projects folder.
  10. Print out a copy of your Power Point in outline form. Give this to your teacher.
  11. When completely finished print out a copy of your presentation which will include your bibliography, using the 3 slide per page method.
  12. On the day of your presentation give a copy of your presentation , including your bibliography, in the three slide per page method, to your teacher to be graded according to the project rubric. Include a vocabulary list if necessary.
