This project will help you, your classmates and students who will study this book in the future appreciate French culture and Jenny’s experiences during her été inoubliable, and, perhaps, entice others to read it. We hope you will enjoy creating this learning tool for others.

To demonstrate what you have learned about the cultural aspects of the story Un Été pas comme les autres, you are going to design a poster, using the fireworks application, which illustrates one aspect of French culture.

Your poster will have six captioned illustrations or photos, with at least three sentences in French describing each one. These illustrations may be photos from Internet sites (try artoday.com, scanned photos from books or postcards, etc.) No English may appear on your poster. Please keep track of all sources you use, and attach a bibliogrtaphy.

Please use a font (like Comic MS) which handles accent marks well.
